The Introduction

Welcome all of you Physics people out there! I see, in your spare time you came across our absolutely amazing page. We are going to teach you a lesson about some basic physics concepts. They are the Law of Conservation of Energy and the principles of basic projectile motion. But how are we going to teach you if you get bored halfway through the lesson and fall asleep like we did? Well, here we go:

Here, down on the Strip in Las Vegas, we see Larry Laffer in the Treasure Island Casino playing Craps, a dice game. He throws the dice onto the table, hoping that he can shoot that lucky 7 or 11 to win the million dollar jackpot that he will use to pay off his monthly rent (or to buy new clothes...).
